Sateen has a smooth, luminous surface that benefits from gentle handling to maintain its soft drape.
Washing
- Wash at low temperatures (up to 40°C)
- Wash light and dark colors separately
- Use a delicate cycle with low spin
Drying
- Line dry whenever possible
- If tumble drying, choose low heat only
- Remove promptly to keep the surface smooth
Detergent
- Use mild, natural detergent
- Avoid bleach and fabric softener to protect the fibers’ sheen
Stains
- Spot clean gently with cold water
- For oily stains, use a mild pre-treatment
