Bedding becomes part of the scene: carried, gathered, stacked and lived in. Private Structures explores the relationship between the body, fabric and the spaces we make our own.
Designed in Berlin, crafted in Egypt from extra-long staple Egyptian cotton.
The warehouse offered a direct expression of structure: bare surfaces, visible construction and generous proportions. Against this backdrop, cotton introduces another material language through its folds, texture and movement.
Dressed for an occasion, the figures bring a different rhythm to the bedroom. They gather, pause and occupy the space, suggesting a room shaped by the people who spend time in it, throughout the day.
Sheets become backdrops, loose partitions and gathered forms. Pillows are carried and stacked. Through these gestures, familiar pieces take on new proportions, drawing attention to the fabric’s weight, drape and relationship to the body.
The campaign reflects Brut’s approach to bedding: colour, texture and function, considered as part of the room. Pieces that settle into everyday life, becoming familiar through use.
